Everything you ever wanted to know is right here.

We all know that Sudoku has enjoyed a major surge in popularity in recent years, even though most people think it looks "intimidating" and even "boring" at first glance. That's certainly how I felt when I first saw it.

But now I like the game so much, I decided to create this website. Its purpose is to teach the game to anyone who wants to learn. Sudoku is a great way to exercise your brain. As anyone who plays it can tell you - there is something addictive about it that is hard to explain.

I realize that most "egg-head" types probably take to this numeric crossword puzzle from the get-go. But the rest of us on the planet think it looks like a frustrating math puzzle at first glance.

Well, first impressions are not always right. By a happy accident, I started playing and soon became addicted to this little mind exerciser. It has the ability to stimulate your brain like no other. And the best part of all - it actually involves no math!!

Not a numbers person? Perfect! This game doesn't really involve numbers. In fact, the boxes could just as easily be filled with letters of the alphabet, or even pictures! Numbers are only used because they are well-recognized symbols.

On the other hand, if you are an "analytical thinker", stick around! You have a head start. The game does, after all, involve analytical thinking.

What I aim to do is teach you, step-by-step, everything there is to know about Sudoku! Let's get started.
